Our New Dog!

Its not what you think. I haven't broken down and gotten another dog. Yet. But next Wednesday, this beauty is totally ours!! For a few weeks, at least. Her name is Lilly (for 'Lilly White', apparently), and she's gorgeous, as you can very clearly see. She's a 28 month old ex racer who's white with pale fawn spots. She's good with small dogs, cats and even rabbits! But, even though I'm already halfway in love, she's not permanent. We're fostering Lilly for Friends of the Hound, a greyhound adoption group that we've been working with. They're hoping to get some more interest in their adoption program from Canberrians, and Lilly's the perfect way to do it! She arrives on Pet Transport next Wednesday afternoon at 5pm from Sydney. She's been spayed, vaccinated, and checked out, and just needs lots of love and a new forever home! I've no doubt she'll find that home; she's beautiful and she'll win people over in a heartbeat... I just hope I don't fall in love first!
